Who should use Super FileManager?
If you can upload a payroll file that is compatible with Super FileManager, then you can use this service; however, it is more suitable for you if you submit contributions for more than 30 members, and require reporting functions. The benefits of Super FileManager are:
Simple to use. Super FileManager provides an intuitive interface where emails provide status updates that verify when a file has been submitted, processed and accepted.
More convenient. All the vital information relating to members contributions are in one place, making your AUST(Q) employer obligations easier to manage.
Streamlined administration. One payroll file upload takes care of any number of member contributions – making it a fast and simple option.
Reduced errors. The contribution information is downloaded from your payroll file and uploaded onto Super FileManager, enabling more efficient and accurate processing of member contributions.
Protected. Super FileManager has been built using the highest level of Internet security (128-bit encryption). This protects the privacy of both employers and members.
Flexible payment options. You can select a payment option that is most convenient to you; EFT, BPAY or Direct Debit.
Multiple user access. Super FileManager offers multiple user access where you can specify the level of access for your authorised users. For example, access can be granted to an administration employee who submits the contribution information, while another level of access can be provided to a HR/payroll employee who authorises payments.
How do I register for Super FileManager?
Super FileManager works by allowing you to upload compatible electronic payroll files. To determine if your file is compatible follow our three step process:
Step 1: Check your payroll service compatibility with Super FileManager
Review our list of payroll services by clicking here to determine if your payroll file can be formatted to be compatible with Super FileManager.
Does your payroll service appear in the ‘Payroll Directory’?
YES: View the file format and the sample payroll file. If you are able to produce a report in an identical format your file may be compatible with Super FileManager. Proceed to Step 3 to verify.
NO: Proceed to Step 2. If you are unable to create a custom report, contact your Client Service Manager to discuss your payroll file format. If necessary, your Client Service Manager will discuss your options or recommend alternative online solutions that may be appropriate for you.
Step 2: Create a custom report*
A custom report is one where you can create and format your own report to suit your requirements. If your payroll service offers this option, you may be able to create a report that is compatible with Super FileManager.
From within your payroll service, create a new custom report template and format the report as detailed in the ’Payroll Directory’. For detailed instructions on how to create a custom report template from within your payroll service, you can either contact the payroll service provider or your Client Service Manager. Once you have created and saved this template, proceed to Step 3.
Step 3: Test your payroll file
To arrange testing, you will need to download a report using your saved template for the required period. Once downloaded, you should provide a copy of the file to your Client Service Manager who will review your payroll file to ensure it is compatible with Super FileManager.
You will receive confirmation on the outcome of the testing.
Once testing of your file is complete:
If your file is compatible with Super FileManager, a User ID and password will be issued to the authorised contact. An email will also be sent confirming the details of the registration, along with more information on how to use the service.
If your file is not compatible with Super FileManager, your Client Service Manager will contact you to discuss alternate ways for you to access Super FileManager, or discuss alternative online solutions that may be appropriate for you.
If you are a registered user of Super FileManager, login here.
If you would like more information on Super FileManager, require assistance to prepare your payroll file, or would like a demonstration on how to use the service, please contact AUST(Q) on 1800 637 698 or email at austq@superpartners.com.au
*Creating custom reports may require some level of technical expertise. If you or your payroll department do not have the technical expertise to easily create custom reports, or there is a charge applied for any changes through your payroll service provider; it is recommended that you forward a copy of your payroll file to your Client Service Manager who will provide you with instructions on how to format your file, or recommend an alternative online solution for you.
